Ma cosa sarebbe il mondo sportivo senza un ambiente favorevole e un pianeta sano?
Il nostro pianeta sta affrontando sfide senza precedenti in termini di clima e ambiente che, nel loro insieme, costituiscono una minaccia per il nostro benessere.
Nel 2002, grazie a Yvon Chouinard, fondatore di Patagonia, e Craig Mathews, proprietario di Blue Ribbon Flies, è nata l’organizzazione 1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet è un’alleanza fra aziende (ad oggi oltre 1200) che hanno compreso la necessità di proteggere l’ambiente. Queste aziende sono consapevoli che profitti e perdite sono direttamente collegati alla salute dell'ambiente e si preoccupano dell'impatto socio-ambientale del settore in cui operano. Dalla nascita di 1% for the Planet, i membri di questa alleanza hanno raccolto e donato più di 175 milioni di dollari a organizzazioni senza scopo di lucro dedicate a migliorare la salute del nostro pianeta.

ONESporter was founded with principles of innovation, research and development in sport, ethics and positive values, with the need to give added value to the sports world.
But what would the sports world be without a favorable environment and a healthy planet?
Our planet is facing unprecedented challenges in terms of climate and environment which, taken together, pose a threat to our well-being.
In 2002, thanks to Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, the organization was born 1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet is an alliance between companies (over 1200 to date) that have understood the need to protect the environment. These companies are aware that profits and losses are directly linked to the health of the environment and are concerned about the socio-environmental impact of the sector in which they operate. Since the inception of 1% for the Planet, members of this alliance have raised and donated more than $ 175 million to non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the health of our planet.

ONESporter is committed to the cause of 1% for the Planet and donates one percent of the value of the membership to the protection and restoration of the natural environment.
